Push Back Racking

Push Back Pallet Racking

Each level in a push back pallet racking system holds a series of nested rolling carts which operate in a lane that slopes upwards away from the pick face. This rack acquired its name because the forklift operator lines up in front of the first pallet and pushes against it, causing the first pallet to roll away from the pick face and expose the next cart. All rolling carts are interlocked to avoid blocking and product damage.

Alpha provides push back racking in Melbourne, Sydney and other cities in Australia that allows you to store multiple stock keeping units on different lane levels, enabling ease of access. In conjunction with effective warehouse operations and management, a push back pallet racking system allows storage of pallets 2 to 5 deep while still providing easy access to a variety of different SKUs.
